The sessions

Information is gathered during the first sessions (normally between 2-3). The parent/guardian will be able to provide information regarding the help and support they want. The child/children can be included in some sessions after this, if this is required. The therapy will provide necessary knowledge, tools and guidance that can be used to make changes. The therapy is based on the cognitive behavioural methods and family systems theory.
